Poetry reading brings crowd to Morris University Center’s bookstore

Adrian Matejka, assistant professor of English language and literature, read poems from his collections in the Morris University Center bookstore Thursday, Jan. 27. He read several poems from a collection entitled Mixology. He also read from a collection of poems about Jack Johnson, the first African-American heavyweight champion in 1908, 17 years after the Plessey vs. Ferguson U.S. Supreme Court case.
