Neruda to host fundraising event for SIUE Wind Symphony

The SIUE Wind Symphony has been selected as the ONLY American university ensemble to perform for the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles in Chiayi City, Taiwan in July. Neruda, here in Edwardsville, is donating 15% of all its proceeds on the evening of January 19, 2011 to the SIUE Band Fund to assist with the trip to Taiwan. This is a tremendous honor for the SIUE Wind Symphony and interested persons are asked to make reservations at Neruda for January 19 to assist in funding this important trip.
