John Q. Walker Inducted into SIUE Alumni Hall of Fame
John Q. Walker was inducted into the SIUE Alumni Hall of Fame in early October. Walker received a bachelor of science in math studies at SIUE in 1976, then went on to get his baccalaureate in music and an master of science in computer science.
Inventor and entrepreneur, Walker co-founded Zenph Sound Innovations as well as Ganymede Software and is the holder of five patents. Zeph Sound Innovations uses computer technology and recordings of legendary musicians to create extraordinary ‘re-performances’ that sound as if you were in the room where they were originally played.
