Academic Women and Their Struggle to Succeed: The Science Glass Ceiling

SIUE and the Office of the Provost welcome a public lecture by Provost Sue Rosser of San Francisco State University, sponsored by the ADVANCE Grant from the National Science Foundation. The lecture will take place in the Maple/Dogwood rooms at the Morris University Center. Rosser has interviewed some of the finest female scientists regarding their research, obstacles faced, and love of science. Through these interviews she proposes a fresh perspective of women of the science and technology culture within the university.
