Faculty Fridays at the Abbot Auditorium

[ October 15, 2010; 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. ] This week’s recital features assistant professor Emily Truckenbrod and professor Linda Perry performing works by Handel, Debussy, Walton, Hindemith, Strauss and Rorem.

The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Abbot Auditorium, located in the basement of the Lovejoy Library.

This performance is free to the public.

[ October 19, 2010; 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. ] Dr. Angela Williams, University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign Outreach Coordinator, will present “Hip Hop for Empowerment in the Arab World” on Tuesday, October 19th, from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. The presentation will take place in the Morris University Center Hickory/Hackberry room. “The Voice” will also participate with a special performance.

Dr’s Cathy Santanello and Flo Maatita, and senior Christy Koester will present their answers on Thursday, October 7th, at 6:30pm in Peck Hall, room 0304.
